Fabrication
Made to your drawings, delivered to your field
Skid assembly
Alongside supply and construction, Golden Ensign fabricates the steelwork, modular buildings and support structures that oil and gas facilities are built from — then transports, erects and commissions them on remote sites across Iraq.
Work is carried out to the client's drawings and specification. Material certificates, welding records and inspection reports are issued with the delivery, and our own crews handle load-out, site erection and connection so responsibility stays in one place from the workshop floor to handover.
Steel structures and trusses
Portal frames, shelters, canopies, warehouses and K-span buildings, with trusses fabricated in-house to the required sizes and dimensions.
Tanks and vessels
Storage tanks of all types, together with the pumping stations, piping and manholes that serve them.
Skids and equipment bases
Steel bases and structures for power generation sets, pump and equipment skids, complete with accessories.
Modular buildings and caravans
Steel-framed and wooden accommodation, office and ablution modules of fireproof design, including multi-level buildings, manufactured and fitted out with electrical, sanitary and furniture works.
Fencing and site protection
BRC and chain-link fencing imported and manufactured, plus security walls and site enclosures for facilities and camps.

Machining and finishing
An equipped workshop with the tools and cadre to fabricate, finish and maintain — backed by teams that travel to site when the work cannot come to us.
- Cutting, beveling, rolling and forming of plate and sections

Materials
Oilfield materials and equipment we supply
Where an item is better bought than built, we source it. Our trading division imports oilfield materials from global origins for the public and private sectors, with speed of supply against technical specification as the thing we are judged on.

Process instrumentation and analysers
Through our commercial agency and supply activity we source process measurement and analyser packages from established international manufacturers, and deliver them to operators and EPC contractors in Iraq.
This part of our work is carried out in cooperation with AIMS Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturing LLC of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, which manufactures and integrates analyser and measurement equipment at its ICAD facility. Golden Ensign represents and supplies this equipment to clients in Iraq, and handles delivery, installation support and after-sales follow-up locally.
Equipment listed below is manufactured by AIMS or by the original equipment manufacturers named against each item. Product specification, certification and warranty remain those of the manufacturer.

Airoptic
Tunable diode laser analysers in three configurations, chosen by where the measurement has to be taken.
- GasEye in-situ — in-situ measurement for very harsh service with corrosive gases, high temperatures and duct load, such as combustion control in a power plant. ATEX, IECEx and KC certified; CSA pending.
- GasEye Extractive — in-line measurement for ultra-sensitive detection in a process stream, for example hydrogen purity. ATEX certified.
- GasEye Open Path — open-space gas concentration measurement over distances up to one kilometre, for fast detection of fugitive gases and fence-line monitoring.
Process cameras
Visual monitoring inside gas processing equipment — liquid removal, mercury removal, dehydration and nitrogen rejection units — for early detection of leaks and equipment faults.
